The Industry currently is suffering from a various taxes being applied for
the sale of Standard Software and different billing methods being followed by Vendor / Distributor.
Presently ISODA has taken following actions
- ISODA has been successful in voicing the concern with Vendor & Distributor and today
we are able to address the concern together
- ISODA has approached number of government departments asking for formal clarification
around the prevailing confusion
- We have written to State Sales & Service Tax Authorities and received formal reply
- We have written to FM with the assistance of Sitting MP’s highlighting the concern
and its impact on the community
- We have approached the Central Service Tax authority as well requesting for desire
clarification around the subject
- ISODA is also trying to join hands with other established association in the India
to overcome the present challenges and is committed to work with them in future
too.
- ISODA encourages its members to host regional meetings on a monthly basis and in
turn consolidates the points discussed during the quarterly management committee
member meetings who represent various regions.
- ISODA also intents to hold and yearly MEGA event the schedule for the same will
be formalized in near future
- ISODA regularly circulating updates on various common faced issues by its members
and is in the process of defining the ready reference book involving legal matters,
issues faced with government, vendors & distributors.
With the launch of its Website ISODA now will publish most of its activities online
at www.isoda.in which will contains news, updates,
and notifications. With the induction of our website. we are enabling our members
with the higher business opportunities by collaborating amongst themselves

updates from Vendors & distributors & the same are broadcast with all its members
